The art auction is at 621 Huntington Avenue; Bakalar and Paine Galleries, South building-corner of Huntington and Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA. Tickets are $200 for general admission. On April 10th, there is an early preview reception if you’re a member of the MFA’s Museum Council. Last year’s auction brought in over $725,000 in scholarships for MassArt students.

A Street Frames is proudly sponsoring the auction as a Wrap Room Devotee Sponsor. MassArt is the only public independent art college in the country.  This is the major fund-raising event of the year displaying MassArt student and alumni talent.  All funds raised go directly to student scholarships.

Artists featured come from all different age groups, mediums and locations. The benefit event includes graduate students, alumni and even up-and-coming undergrads. Perhaps you could discover the next big Boston artist, or buy a piece of art from someone in the early stages of their career just waiting to be thrust into the spotlight. Early artist recognition is one of the best things to come out of the auction (other than the scholarships). We hope we see you there.
