Cambridge showroom moving to Waltham

To our extremely valued clients,

As many of you may already know, we recently moved our manufacturing operations to a beautiful, larger facility in Malden. We are officially up and running over there, and our dedicated team of artisans is working harder than ever to deliver the signature custom frames ASF has always been known for, and to catch us up as fast as possible from our delay while moving. If you are experiencing a delay in your order, please know that we are doing our best to get your framing to you as soon as possible and we will contact you the minute it is ready.

The reason for our move to Malden is that our beloved home for the past 30 years at 755 Concord Avenue in Cambridge is slated to be redeveloped into a new apartment complex like so many other buildings in our neighborhood already have.

Initially, we were led to believe we would have more time after our production move to search for a new showroom (ideally between Cambridge and Belmont). But, due to circumstances far beyond our control, we must now also vacate our showroom by the end of this month (and if you’re counting, that’s only three days away!). Obviously, this news was a massive shock for us, as we were forced to begin a search for a new retail space within days of being notified.

The amazing news is that we have found an incredible storefront we believe will be an excellent fit for our business and our valued customers; we feel so lucky to have found a space that ticks so many of our boxes so fast!

Located just 10 minutes away from our current space in Cambridge, our new showroom is a bright corner shop situated in a busy retail plaza in North Waltham just over the Belmont line and steps away from the Lexington line. It features better parking and amazing visibility, with easy access to Route 2 and I-95/128, and again, only 10 minutes from our former location.

We hope to open our new Waltham showroom in the coming weeks, by mid-May, as we need to conduct a brief build-out to make it ready to receive clients. We will keep you all updated as we progress as to our exact re-opening date.

Our new showroom address will be 1019 Trapelo Rd. in Waltham.

Meanwhile, we will continue to serve our valued clients in our newest showroom at 442 Lexington Street in the village of Auburndale in Newton, which also has free parking. We encourage you to visit that showroom for your framing needs for the next few weeks (or longer if more convenient!). You may make an appointment or walk-in, whatever is best for you. We also will continue to provide free pick-up and delivery of your artwork on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please call us at 617-497-2259 or email us at info@astreetframes.com to set that up.

If you have an order in Cambridge that is ready for pick up, it will be at our Auburndale showroom starting Wednesday, 4.29.26. We will happily make arrangements for free delivery if that location is not easy for you to get to. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this causes and assure you your artwork is still in the safest of hands.

Again, please don’t hesitate to come see us in Auburndale during this time; our designers will be so happy to see you there and help you with any projects you bring us. We love working with all our clients as this is what we do best.

We cannot wait to see you in Waltham in a few short weeks and our team thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and business.

Sincerely,

Scott Weaver & Chris Grace
